Midhurst Engineering's workshop consists of ten bays. There are three two post ramps,
one four post ramp
and a separate area for the purposes of Class IV MOT inspections. The company was in the forefront of
commissioning the present computerised MOT system which will be mandatory from April, 2006.
We employ five mechanics in the workshop area and all
are highly qualified to work on any make or model of light vehicle. They have access to an
assortment of modern diagnostic equipment to assist with fault finding but occasionally specialist advice or
assistance is required which is obtained through a good working relationship with all the main dealers in the
area.
Over in our Body Shop we have a reputation for quality repairs and our customers
endorse this by recommendation and repeat business. We also have a high satisfaction level with insurance companies
when we carry out their repairs.
Enclosed within the body shop building is a low bake oven which allows
the transfer of vehicles from the preparation area into the oven. This reduces contamination of areas
to be painted and achieves a high quality finish. Our body shop manager specialises in paint
restoration of vintage and classic cars, sometimes overseeing their complete restoration.
Service Reception is located adjacent to the workshop where customers can discuss
vehicle maintenance issues and settle invoices. Free Customer parking facilities are available but if you can't find the time
to visit our garage you can book a service or an MOT by using this web form. Accounts
rendered can be settled with these payment cards:
The separate Administration
Building incorporates a recovery control room from where the 24 hour road side assistance is organised.
The Company has a number of courtesy cars which may be available while your vehicle is in our care.
Terms and conditions apply.
We have a high level of security, supplemented with CCTV, for our Secure Parking Compound
which can hold forty damaged vehicles with a further bunded strip for up to eight vehicles to comply with
the requirements of the European End-of-Life Vehicles [ELV] Directive.
Midhurst Engineering is registered as meeting the requirements of ISO 9002. This is the standard used to gauge
customer and applicable regulatory requirements. Part of the IS09002 standard considers 'duty of care' for the
environment. The Company uses
SafetyKleen UK for its entire hazardous waste disposal. Plus, our underground storage tanks are foam filled to
inhibit leakage. Waste paper from our offices, and even drinks cans, are recycled.
